Knight & Day by Kitty French is the third book in her Knight trilogy. The first two books deal with Mr. Lucien Knight. And now, as if it were not enough that Ms. French gave us perfection in the form of Lucien Knight, she now gives us Dylan Day. Get your ice cubes, fans, toys, partners....whatever you think you may need...and be prepared for one heck of a hot, steamy and erotic journey that will leave your girly (or manly) parts all tingly and your hearts all melty and squishy. So, to have Lucien back in all his masculine dominant glory and then to have Dylan Day thrown into the equation. Well now, that’s literary perfection to me!








We got to know and love Kara Brookes in the first two books in the series. As Sophie’s best friend, we got to see just how loyal, smart and witty this spicy woman with a mouth could truly be. Kara finds herself on the sunny and hot island of Ibiza, Spain with Sophie and Lucien not only to open another sex boutique in the newest sex club for Knight Enterprises, but to also escape from London and her broken and jilted heart. Kara wants a summer away from the reminders of what went wrong in her life. All she wants now is to spend a glorious summer working hard, relaxing at the beach and staying far far far away from the opposite sex. You may as well call her “No Sex Kara”.








Dylan Day is a mystery. He is a sexy American with a silver tongue. Upon his introduction I too, much like Kara, wanted to lick his face (and quite possibly other parts of his anatomy). Don’t judge. You would too. Trust me on this one. Dylan is in Ibiza needing to get away from his life in California. His intention was never to start fresh on the island of Ibiza; however, upon meeting Lucien and being offered the job as the club manager of his new club, Dylan decides to do just that…start fresh. He wants to remain far removed from the man he was in the U.S. The problem becomes that in order to stay far removed, Dylan must reinforce the web of deceit that he slowly started weaving upon his arrival in Ibiza.

When Kara and Dylan meet the sparks and the chemistry ignites. But, Kara is not interested in anything but staying away from all men and Dylan’s life is already complicated enough without adding in a feisty and beautiful woman who tells it like it is. But the allure of the forbidden and the deep seated lust they feel for one another is too much of a temptation for Dylan and Kara. What starts off as a no holds barred sex affair leads to the couple developing some very real and intense feelings for each other. However, happiness does not seem in the cards when Dylan’s secrets and his past come to light. He becomes yet another man in Kara’s life who has broken her heart with lies. Can Dylan and Kara resurface from under the weight of the lies and deception or is it too late for a happy forever for the two?





I absolutely loved so many things about this book. The romance between Dylan and Kara was so beautifully organic. Things may have begun in a lust-filled crazy, but the pair slowly understood that there was more going on than some hot sexy times. And, speaking of sizzling sex, this book has it in boat loads. Kitty French truly has a gift when it comes to intertwining a wonderfully heart-warming romance that left my heart in a big pile of goop with smoking hot erotic scenes that would have a nun squirming in her panties. I think I need to emphasize just how masterful this author’s erotic prose is.

I also loved the fact that Lucien and Sophie were such an integral part of this book. I knew going in that they would somehow be interwoven into the fabric of the storyline; however, I was ecstatic to get more time with them and to see how they have evolved as a couple. There were some truly special moments shared between the two of them in this book. It was amazing to see how far they have come as a couple and to see that the bond they have developed was not only stronger but everlasting.





Lucien, our Viking lone wolf, not only developed a working relationship with Dylan but also a friendship. I think he saw a little bit of himself in the lost American he hired as his club manager. Their rapport was often humorous and I loved every minute the two sexy men spent in each other’s company.

“Thank you,” Dylan said. “Your faith in me means a lot.”

Lucien lifted a nonchalant shoulder. “Just don’t expect me to hug,” he said, pushing his chair back as he stood. “I like you, but this isn’t Brokeback Mountain.”

“I know this kind of talk makes you freak out, but I’m gonna say it anyway,” Dylan said, laughing softly. “I fuckin’ love you, man.”

“Jesus Christ,” Lucien muttered.....

“And now I feel like we just had sex.”

All in all, Knight & Day was an absolutely wonderful book and end to this trilogy that will forever hold a place in my heart. I love the characters that Kitty French has created that have all found their way into my heart. Needless to say, I am a super fan of this author and can not wait for more. Whatever comes from the literary mind of Kitty French is sure to be heartfelt and sizzling hot.
